17.01.2010, Sunday Night 7p.m., the Trackmania Squad went for his first War against Zero.
It was not only the first War after a long time, also a real RAW enemy.
Zero is a well know Clan in TM and got some tough Tech Drivers we had to deal with.
We knew Zero is going to drive short tech maps so we choose Own Opdal 2 (44:00 sec.) and Own Opdal 5 (46:00 sec.), with LiN, reverB. and Eso to drive.
The War started with Own Opdal 5 and we won this map easily with 7:2.
LiN and reverB put on some big hits with 46:09 and 46:02 sec. and we were optimistic to win this war.
The next map was Burning Morning from Zero and this was definitely their territory.
We lost 3:7 but made some good runs.
A little showdow n started with Own Opdal 5, because we were one up and still 2 maps left.
It was a close match and Zero tried everything to beat LiN, reverb and Eso.
The n2L team put down their routine, especially LiN with a great time of 44:33 sec., and we were able to win this map 7:6!
Time for the next map, the big FINAL… Lockdown was one of their maps and we were only 2 points up!
Zero took the lead with 4:6 and it seemed like they gona win the War. But n2L came back with a great performance and we tied the game.
Zero still won this map 6:7 but after all we won 23:22.
